This Double Horse Head Wall Hook is a vintage cast metal equestrian hanger with two overlapping horse heads, raised mane detailing, antiqued gold tone highlights, and a long dark metal loop hook.

The substantial wall mounted piece weighs 1 pound 11 ounces and has a useful projection that gives bridles, halters, coats, hats, or other hanging items room away from the wall.

The sculpted horse heads face opposite directions and are molded with textured manes, alert ears, eyes, nostrils, and facial details. Dark recessed areas contrast with rubbed gold tone highlights across the raised surfaces.

The back has two metal keyhole mounting plates for wall installation. No maker name, model number, or country of manufacture is visible in the supplied photos. Its combination of decorative horse relief and functional hanger makes it well suited to a tack room, barn entry, mudroom, or equestrian themed interior.

Collector's Notes

Horse head wall hooks have long crossed the line between practical stable equipment and decorative equestrian home accessories.

The projecting loop gives this example enough clearance to work naturally as a bridle, halter, coat, hat, or bag hanger.

The paired horse heads and rubbed gold tone detailing give the piece more visual presence than a simple utility hook.

It is the sort of useful old object that makes sense in a tack room and still looks right inside the house.
