• Front cover of Alligators All Around: An Alphabet board book by Maurice Sendak, featuring a mint green cover with a terracotta-bordered illustration of three cartoon alligators — one in a red jacket holding a card with the letter A, one small alligator in blue, and one in a purple robe — surrounded by a sketchy tree-like background, with the title in bold black lettering and the author's name at the bottom, displayed flat on a warm wood surface.
  • Open interior spread of Alligators All Around showing two pages: on the left, the letter F with a caption "forever fooling" and an illustration of two alligators in bowler hats — one riding the other's back while holding a yellow umbrella; on the right, the letter G with a caption "getting giggles" and an illustration of three alligators in hats laughing and dancing together, displayed on a warm wood surface.
  • Back cover of Alligators All Around board book on a white background, featuring the tagline "An alligator jamboree, with all the letters — A through Z," a small Sendak illustration of a child with a plant, and a listing of all four Nutshell Library titles: Alligators All Around, Chicken Soup with Rice, One Was Johnny, and Pierre, with a barcode and retail price of $8.95, displayed flat on a warm wood surface.
